Games without Frontiers

I am not a libertarian. In fact, I am something of a statist. But as a native-born Englishman, I believe that it is my inalienable right to be able to travel from one end of my country to the other without let or hindrance from petty officialdom and, in particular, without the necessity to carry an ID card. If you agree with me on this issue, get over to NO2ID and sign the epetition against the imposition of Soviet-style "internal passports", if you haven't already done so

I also support the UK joining the Schengen agreement. Even Switzerland and Iceland are now members You see there is (some) consistency in my theory of ethics. I don't believe in passports at all. As a native-born human, I believe it is my inalienable right to be travel from one end of my planet to the other other without let or hindrance from petty officialdom. Or at least from one end of Schengenland to the other.
